Spring 2014 Architecture Studio | Site + Apparatus + Encasement at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
A studio of 12 students created small facilities on the beautiful land at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. A chosen apparatus became the center of the choreography and space needed to for an enclosure. This small project was truly a form follows function exercise. Mine being a paper making facility, the small space was intended for minimal occupants. The space was defined by many tools needed to make paper. Focusing on materiality and construction, this project was hinged on drawing details.
